It's much better than IE and my primary browser. It doesn't really work well with some pages that you make purchases through... sometimes your blog will appear fine with firefox but be a little misaligned with IE. Anyway, bottom line it is: - Faster than IE - Blocks pop ups - Enables tabbed browsing
tabbed browsing hon. Once you switch over, there ain't no turning back. All that dev-ram brought up in addition to less frequent crashing, its lightening fast and supports all 3 OS'. Get with it already:)
not so much slow on the take but stubborn as hell. generally get dragged kicking and screaming into things which i then promptly fall in love with. just started dabbeling with firefox. will give ya'll an update soon
Was resistant to take on Firefox at first, mainly coz I developed webapps for IE and was a hardhead to care less for other browsers a la Netscape.
When my IE crashed 2 weeks ago, I decided to be less pigheaded and use Firefox. Its awesome. As Diggity said, tabbed browsing, inbuilt pop-up blocking and faster. Skews the layouts of some websites, but more as an exception than a rule.
Gave it a chance; guess its here to stay for me, at least for now.
i'm a believer. mouse gesture and tabbed browsing are just soo sweet. plus all the other little extentions you can get. turns out swithing my app's over to be firefox friendly wasn't that hard. but i notice that yahoo mail is not geared the same way. *grin*
