AASHURA NI RAAT
1400 years ago in Karbala, Imam Hussain, grand son of the prophet was martyred. we are shias, followers of Ali and we mourn his son. His enemys sent him false letters telling him that his followers in karbala needed him. knowing that to travel there would be death he still went. in the last week they cut off food and water. all the men, even the baby boys died. so on the last day they fast in remebrance. ¶ 2/22/2005 05:07:00 AM
